L.C. Pierpont (b.1991) is a photographer born and based in East Tennessee. Rooted in the documentary tradition, she is an artist who blends narrative and conceptual themes within image making, often with focus on portraiture. With primary use of analog photography, she works to create imitate connections with subjects and viewers describing also the experience of the photograph itself. Her current series of work in progress titled THE LOCAL focuses on narrative and conceptual portraiture of local subjects in and close to her home in Tennessee.
